After news of Afzal Guru’ hanging broke out on Saturday morning, veteran separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani left his New Delhi’s residence for Kashmir.
The family members of Geelani told Kashmir Life over phone that as the ailing leader stepped out his residence, he was not allowed to move forward by heavy contingent of police deployed around his house in Malviya Nagar.
Despite repeated attempts Geelani could not be contacted. His family says, he is yet to come out of shock.
