Senior pro-freedom leader and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai Friday visited the residence of slain Gowhar Nazir Dar at Zainakote HMT who was recently killed by the CRPF men of HMT camp on the eve of “Million March”.
Sehrai led a huge procession of the people to the grave of the slain student.
Many Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leaders and activists were also accompanying him to Zainakote HMT including Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Zaffar Habib, Rameez Raja, Umar Adil, Bashir Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad, Mohammad Abdullah, Abdul Majeed Khanday and Bilal Ahmad Mir.
Addressing the gathering, Sehrai reiterated the demand of implementing pending UN resolutions in Kashmir. “As for the probe ordered by government into the killing of Gowher is concerned,” Sehrai said, “it is mere an eyewash.”
Today’s procession was observed after Oct 23, when Sehrai addressed the Hurriyat activists in Hyderpora.
