A girl ended her life by consuming some poisonous substance in Baramulla district last evening, police said Thursday evening. It added that a boy died in a road accident while a man was injured in another mishap.
A 16 years old girl (name withheld) resident of Delina, Baramulla consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to District Hospital Baramulla where doctors declared her brought dead.
A Minor boy died while another person was injured in two separate road accidents in Kulgam and Handwara.
In Kulgam, a Tipper bearing registration number JK03D-5709 hit a 7 years old boy Mehran Ahmad Parray son of Abdul Hamid resident of Shampora at Choimula, Qazigund, resulting in his on spot death.
After completion of legal formalities, the body of deceased boy was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
In Handwara, a Bus bearing registration number JK03-4685 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Tanveer Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Abdullah resident of Chowgal Handwara at Sagipora. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
