SRINAGAR

One person died and nineteen others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A police statement said on Friday.

A Truck bearing registration number Jk01A/8243 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05D/1904 near Markundal Sumbal, Bandipora, resulting in injuries to the Motorcyclist Gulzar Ahmad Hajam son of Mohammad Ramzan residents of Achabal and pillion Nigena daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Lone residents of Lahorihama Rafiabad.

 The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, where the girl succumbed to her injuries. A case FIR number 112/2013 under section 279/ 304 RPC registered in this regard.

An Alto car bearing registration number Jk05C- 8629 hit and injured a pedestrian girl Shahzada Akhter daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Malik at Buchoo, Islamabad.

The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Islamabad for treatment. A case FIR number 69/2013 under section 279,337, 427 RPC registered in this regard.

A Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK03C/0592 hit and injured a pedestrian Fayaz Ahmed Padder son of Ghulam Nabi residents of Mattan at Akoora Crossing KP Road, Islamabad.

The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case FIR number 62/2013 has been registered in this regard.

An Auto Load carrier bearing registration number 4157- JK16 turned turtle at Sumbal, Gund, resulting in injuries to one person Dilpazeer Ahmed son of Jumma Bagda residents of Sumbal Bala. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.

A Wagon-R bearing registration number JK09/6689 hit and injured a girl Nazima daughter of Reyaz Ahmad Mir resident of Santipora, Kralpora at Kralpora Mode, Kupwara. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case FIR 35/2013 under section 279, 337 RPC registered in this regard.
