Mymoona, 18 daughter of Abdul Jabar Chopan resident of Ashtengo, Bandipora got electrocuted at her home, a police statement said.
She received injuries in the incident and was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
While in another incident, a lady from Sheikh Dawood Colony, Batamaloo jumped into river Jehlum at Cement Bridge, however the timely action by locals saved her life, the police said.
Meanwhile in another incident Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh resident of Mehjoor Nagar, Srinagar alleged that his daughter Rozi Jan, 19 was abducted by Altaf Ahmad Deega resident of Mehjoor Nagar on May 15.
Police has registered a case in this regard.
