SRINAGAR: An 18-year-old girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Chadder area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
An official said that the girl, a resident of Khrewan Chadder, was found unconscious at her home. She was immediately shifted to SDH Qaimoh, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Her body was later taken to GMC Anantnag for legal and medico-legal formalities, after which it was handed over to her legal heirs.
Meanwhile, police have started an investigation into the matter. (JKNS)
