SRINAGAR: The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology is inviting applications for the Global Internship Programme in South Korea.
The application deadline is March 8, 2024.
The Global Intern Program (GIP) offers a wonderful opportunity to experience research at GIST by allowing you to join a research lab for eight weeks during the summer to receive valuable training and mentoring from the lab’s professor.
To be eligible, candidates must be undergraduate or master’s students with a GPA of more than 3.0.
The required documents include the Application Form, Degree Certificates, Original (Official) Transcripts, Letter of Recommendation, and English Language Proficiency Test.
GIST will provide knowledge and skill in the areas of School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Engineering, School of Life Sciences, Institute of Integrated Technology, Department of Physics and Photon Science, Department of Chemistry, Department of Biomedical Science & Engineering, and the Artificial Intelligence Graduate School.
Selected candidates will receive half of the round-trip airfare, dormitory accommodation, Korean language classes, cultural classes, special lectures, stipends, and cultural exploration opportunities.
