SRINAGAR: The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in South Korea is inviting applications for its Global Internship Programme (GIP) 2025. This fully funded summer programme offers an excellent opportunity for undergraduate seniors and master’s students worldwide to gain hands-on research experience in cutting-edge fields.
The programme is designed to provide training in various fields, including Engineering, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Life Sciences, and more.
The internship is for the duration of eight weeks, from July to August 2025, allowing participants to work in GIST’s advanced research labs under the guidance of expert faculty members. The deadline to apply for the programme is February 28, 2025. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official GIST website.
The eligibility criteria involves that applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.5 scale and English language proficiency. However, no application fee or IELTS score is required, making this a more accessible opportunity for international students.
