A documentary film Global Warning – Kashmir Chapter has won the 2nd Best film award (Silver) in Long Unit film Category at prestigious film festival & climate change advocacy group (Handle Climate Change Film Festival at Shenzhen, China). HCCC represents the China at 22nd Paris Climate Change Conference.

Initially 1254 films from 93 countries across the globe themed on climate change where present in the competition for first round, only 65 film made through jury process for second round and only 26 films for the 3rd the final round, 3 films were chosen for honours in Long Unit film Category.

Declaring Global Warning – Kashmir Chapter, 2nd Best film around the globe with Silver Trophy, Merit Certificate and Cash reward, Global Warning – Kashmir Chapter will be screened across the metropolitan cites of China & world after its successful competition at film festival Shenzhen, China

GWKC is a documentary film on Climate Change from Kashmir which narrates the story of three progressive farmers Cherry (Samad Khan (76) Pashtun), Almonds Mohammad Shafi (68) and Saffron Haji Abdul Aziz (75) from Pampore. The three cash crops from Kashmir, how these economically prosperously driven crops are demonising as the times pass by due to environmental hazards, climate changes and urbanisation.
