SRINAGAR: The Government Medical College (GMC) and Associated Hospitals, Jammu, has ordered the transfer of three doctors with immediate effect as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at patient care.
The transfers were ordered under Order No. 231/AHJ of 2026 dated August 8, 2026, issued by Deep Raj, JKAS, Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Jammu.
Under the order, Dr Hoshiar Singh has been shifted from the Radiotherapy Department, GMC Jammu, to Chief Medical Officer (CMO), GMCH Jammu.
Dr Divya Mahajan, posted in the Department of Oncology at the State Cancer Institute, Jammu, has also been transferred to CMO, GMCH Jammu.
Dr Aishwarya Jamwal, who was serving as CMO, GMCH Jammu, has been moved to the Department of Oncology at the State Cancer Institute, Jammu.
The order stated that the transfers had been made in the interest of administration and patient care.
All three medical officers have been deemed relieved from their existing places of posting with immediate effect and directed to report to the concerned Medical Superintendent(s) for further duties without delay.
The order was issued by the Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Jammu, on August 8.
