SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a major reshuffle in the civil administration, with the transfer and appointment of 19 officers across various departments.
According to Government Order No. 2059-JK(GAD) of 2024, dated 09.12.2024, Dr Ghulam Nabi Itoo, Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission, has been appointed as Director of School Education, Kashmir. Syed Shahnawaz, Regional Transport Officer, Kashmirhas been posted Joint Director, Information, Kashmir
Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Director of Handloom and Handicrafts, Kashmir, has been posted as Managing Director of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited. Syed Qamar Sajad, Additional District Development Commissioner of Baramulla, has been posted as Managing Director of J&K Cable Car Corporation.
Nisar Ahmad Wani, awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Member of the J&K Special Tribunal (Srinagar Bench). Mussarat-ul-Islam, Managing Director of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, has been appointed as Director of Handloom and Handicrafts, Kashmir.
Vikas Gupta, Special Secretary for Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction, has been posted as Director of Tourism, Jammu. Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Kashmir, has been appointed as Joint Director of Information, Kashmir.
Masarat Hashim, Programme Officer, ICDS Pulwama, has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Tourism Development Authority, Pahalgam. Qazi Irfan Rasool Zargar, Registrar-cum-Controller of Examinations, SKIMS, has been posted as Regional Transport Officer, Kashmir.
Kanta Devi, Special Secretary in the School Education Department, has been appointed as Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Jammu. Tariq Hussain, CEO of the Pahalgam Tourism Development Authority, has been posted as CEO of the Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg.
Gulzar Ahmed Dar, Special Secretary in Housing and Urban Development Department has been transferred to the post of Special Secretary in School Education Department. Tassaduq Hussain Mir, Director of School Education, Kashmir has been posted as Special Secretary in ARI and Trainings Department.
Khurshid Ahmad Shah Special Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department has been appointed Mission Director in Jal Jeevan Mission. Anju Gupta, Regional Director of Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary in Housing and Urban Development Department.
Parveez Ahmad Raina, Member, J&K Special Tribunal (Srinagar Bench), has been posted as Additlonal Commissioner of State Taxes (Administration & Enforcement), Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
