SRINAGAR: A full emergency was declared at Goa’s Manohar International Airport on Tuesday morning after an IndiGo flight bound for Delhi returned shortly after take-off following a reported engine snag, according to media reports.
IndiGo flight 6E 2102 took off from Goa at 9:16 am, but the crew reported a problem involving one of the aircraft’s engines soon after departure, the Hindustan Times reported.
An emergency was declared at the airport at around 9:25 am, with Air Traffic Control initiating a full emergency as the aircraft turned back towards Goa, according to the report.
The aircraft landed safely at Goa airport at approximately 9:50 am.
No passenger or crew member was injured in the incident, India Today reported.
