Authorities on Thursday disallowed Hurriyat Conference (g) executive council meeting at Hyderpora.
“All roads leading to Hurriyat headquarters were sealed and a huge contingent of forces personnel were deployed around residence of Syed Ali Geelani,” a spokesperson of Hurriyat (g) said.
In a statement, he said that even office bearers were not allowed to attend office duties.
Meanwhile, Geelani while denouncing “unnecessary” curbs on executive council meet, said that autocratic behaviour of authorities is undemocratic and “a shameful act”.
