Governor Satya Pal Malik has expressed grief over the loss of DySP Aman Thakur, martyred in an encounter at Turigam area of Kulgam district.
Governor has prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed sympathy and solidarity with family members of Thakur, said an official spokesman.
He has wished a speedy recovery to the security personnel injured during the encounter, the spokesman said.
