The Governor of J&K NN Vohra visited the Hqs 14 Corps at Leh today.
As per a statement Lt Gen Rajan Bakshi, GOC 14 Corps, gave a briefing to the Governor about the overall security situation in the very large area of his responsibility and about issues relating to security management in regard to the LoC and LaC. He also updated the Governor about the recent developments in Eastern Ladakh, along the LaC.
The Governor discussed with the Corps Commander and other senior Army officers various important matters which have a bearing on the overall security environment in the Ladakh region.
The Governor lauded the Army in defending the territorial integrity of the country with valour and commitment and for promptly providing help and support to the people during natural calamities and emergencies of all kinds.
Navin K Choudhary, Principal Secretary to the Governor, and senior Army officers were present on the occasion.
