N N Vohra, Governor, Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under sub-section (1) of section 53 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, has summoned the State Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council to meet at Jammu on Monday, the February 10, 2014, at 10.30 a.m.
The Governor has called upon the Members of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council to assemble together in the Central Hall of the Legislature Building in the New Secretariat premises, Jammu, on Monday, the 10th day of February, 2014 at 10.30 a.m. to hear his Address to both the Houses of the Legislature under the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 55 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir.
After the said Address, each House of the Legislature will meet separately at the time specified by the respective Presiding Officers. The Governor approved the State Government’s proposal in regard to this matter on Thursday.
