Governor N N Vohra visited Mata Kheer Bhawani shrine at Tulmulla, Ganderbal, to view the arrangements which have been put in place for the devotees who will throng the Shrine on the occasion of “Mela Mata Kheer Bhawani”, which commences on 20th June 2018.

Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, MLA Ganderbal; B.B. Vyas, Chief Secretary; Dr. S.P. Vaid, DGP, Sh. R.K. Goyal, Principal Secretary Home; Dr. Piyush Singla, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal;  Fayaz Ahmad Lone, Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal, representatives of Dharmarth Trust and several members of Kashmiri Pandit community received the Governor on his arrival at the Shrine.

Governor discussed with the Chief Secretary, Deputy Commissioner and other concerned officers the arrangements made by the District Administration and the Dharamarth Trust for the stay of the pilgrims, particularly the sanitation facilities.

In this context, he visited the Sewage Treatment Plant at the Shrine which, he was informed by the Deputy Commissioner, shall become operational in the next two days.
