To achieve better results at the secondary level, the Directorate of School Education (DSEK), Kashmir has announced special perks for the staff of any government school of Kashmir Division that gets the first position at province Level in this year’s Class 10th board exams.
DSEK announced, “All the staff of that school will be given an out of turn promotion, choice posting, besides cash prize, a citation and special school grant.”
A notification issued by DSEK in this regard further read, “Hon’ble Education Minister has asked for special mentoring of prospective toppers in all schools, while announcing this incentive for our teachers.”
To mention, the government schools of the state have not been able to secure top positions at secondary level examinations.
This step is being seen as a booster for the teaching community to perform better and work harder in achieving the better results.
