The circular issued by state authorities wherein government teachers have been barred for taking private classes have no takers as they continue to violate norms.
Scores of in-service varsity professors without seeking any permission from the higher ups has also been found taking classes in the private coaching institutes at old city here.
The government issued a circular a month back in which it stated that strict action will be taken against the government teachers found involvement in teaching at private coaching centres. Despite several reports published in the local dallies no action has been taken against the norm violators.
Sources told KNS that without seeking any permission from the varsity or other authorities, the professors working in the Kashmir University are taking classes of Valley students in different private coaching centres mostly in old city here.
“If the circular has been issued then why does the delay occur to take action against the norm flouters,” he said, adding that the unemployed eligible youth are being pushed to the walls as they are getting no chance to earn their bread.
Sources further said that the norm violators hardly bother to pay heed over the circular issued by the state administration.
Reports reaching said that in different areas the government teachers especially lecturers are presently teaching in different coaching centres of Srinagar area including Parray Pora, Hyderpora, Khanyar, Hawal, Lalbazar, and Hazratbal.
Similarly many experienced government lecturers who have established name in private tuition are presently teaching at their residences where scores of students are accommodated in small rooms.
Similar reports are coming from the other parts of the valley including South and North Kashmir.
However, the government seems in deep slumber as no action has been taken against them thereby leaving an unemployed youth to suffer.
