Govt Closes All Paid Public Parks in J&K

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government Sunday closed all paid public parks in the Union Territory owing to the rise in Covid-19 cases.

The Information Department through its official Twitter handle made the announcement.

“Due to the prevailing COVID situation in J&K, State Executive Committee, in the exercise of the powers conferred upon it under section 24 of Disaster Management Act,2005, hereby orders that all paid public parks in the UT of J&K shall remain closed for visitors till further orders,” the tweet read.
