Expressing deep concern over the growing population of stray packs in Srinagar city, Rural Development Minister, Ali Muhammad Sagar Tuesday said that Government called Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation and has directed them to curb the movement of canines in the city.
“I was shocked to learn about the death of a child in Shanpora area of Habak Srianagar by canines. This menace should be checked at an earliest and the Government would take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of people in general and children in particular,” he said adding that Government is serious about the issue.
