A high level delegation of state Unit of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) headed by MP Jugal Kishore Sharma left for New Delhi from Jammu to brief the party high command about political stalemate in the state which continued for 13th consecutive day on Sunday in the backdrop of fracture mandate.

Sources told KNS that Sharma will be accompanied by senior party leaders Dr Nirmal Singh, Ashok Khujuria, Shamsheer Singh and few others will give their view on the formation of new government to the party high command.

“The formal talks with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will only start after the state leaders give their view point to the high command. After that a high level BJP delegation headed by party general secretary Ram Madhav will arrive in J&K for the final discussion with the PDP leadership,” they added.

When contacted Jugal Kishore confirmed that they were meeting the high command on Monday in New Delhi. “We will brief the command and put our opinion before them. The final decision lies with the high command,” he said.
