SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Sudershan Khajuria, Patwari Halqa Khanpur, Tehsil Marheen, District Kathua, after catching him red-handed while accepting a Rs 15,000 bribe to correct a Girdawari entry in the revenue records.
According to officials, the complainant alleged that Khajuria initially demanded Rs 30,000 and threatened to manipulate the revenue records if the payment was not made. Under pressure, the complainant paid Rs 5,000 but later negotiated the amount to Rs 15,000. Unwilling to pay further, the complainant approached the ACB.

The money was recovered from his possession, and he was arrested on the spot,” officials said.
