SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the recall of five Junior Scale JKAS officers from the Union Territory of Ladakh while deputing six others from Jammu and Kashmir to Ladakh on an exchange basis.
According to a government order, the recalled officers include Rehmatullah Butt, Sandeep Singh, Akshay Sharma, Vivek Rattan, and Mohit Sharma.
In their place, the services of Soheel Noor Shah (JKAS, Special Secretary, Forest Department), Huma Khan (Jr Scale JKAS, Under Secretary, CEO Office J and K), Ayaz Ahmed (Jr Scale JKAS, BDO Kaprin, Shopian), Mohd Abrar (Jr Scale JKAS, BDO Qila Darhal), Mohd Sufder Bhat (Jr Scale JKAS, BDO Kalarose, Kupwara), and Anupam Bhardwaj (Jr Scale JKAS, BDO Dali-Udhyanpur) have been placed at the disposal of the UT of Ladakh.
The order states that the deputation period shall be for two years or until recall, with lien and promotion prospects to remain with the Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department. The deputed officers will also be entitled to avail incentives announced by the UT of Ladakh.
The officers have been deemed relieved with immediate effect and directed to report to the General Administration Department of the UT of Ladakh for further posting.
