SRINAGAR: Mohammad Ashraf Jan, who founded the Green land Education Institute Hawal is no more, He breathed his last in Medanta Hospital in Delhi after surgical intervention.
Reports publicly available suggest he was shifted from the ICU a day earlier. He was not well for a long time.
Jan, a respected educationist, was an agriculture graduate. He has significantly contributed to the education in Shehr-e-Khas.
Before establishing the Green Land School, Jan was teaching at Islamia Mission School Malarata.
