Unidentified militants lobbed a grenade at a police post in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district Sunday evening, police said.
“A grenade was lobbed at Sherbagh police post in the Islamabad, at around 8:50 pm,” a police spokesman said. “The grenade fell short of the target and exploded in an open area with a big bang,” he said, adding there were no reports of any casualties in the blast.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
