Suspected militants hurled a grenade at Police station Sherbagh, Islamabad which exploded in the lawn of the police station injuring three police men.
Sources said that the grenade was targeted at the police station which exploded at a time when some policemen were present in the lawn.
“Three personnel were injured and rushed immediately to Hospital for treatment,” they said adding a contingent of police and forces have cordoned off the area and a manhunt has been started to nab the grenade throwers.
Pertinently Islamabad district is also going to polls on December 14 along with Srinagar and Shopian where security has already been beefed up.
