Grenade Blast: Injured Identified By Police

SRINAGAR

In a grenade blast Saturday afternoon in Srinagar’s busy Lal Chowk, Police has identified the eight inured including father son duo and a CRPF sub inspector.

According to police spokesman, the injured were  identified as Halima wife of Abdul Rashid resident of Chaki-Kawosa, Abdul Rehman Wani son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Chaki-Kawosa, Budgam, Bashir Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Bemina, Ghulam Nabi Nayak son of Ghulam Nabi and his eight years old son Farooq Ahmad resident of Devsar,Kulgam, Abdul Majeed son of Ghulam Hyder resident of Natipora, Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Shivpora and a Sub Inspector of 132 BN CRPF Hari Ram Devakar.

All the injured were shifted to hospital where first aid have been given to them. Police and paramilitary  forces have cordoned off the area.
