Provincial president National Conference Devender Singh Rana on Thursday constituted public grievances cell at the party headquarters to listen to the problems of people, workers and seeking their redressal.

As per a statement the step, aimed at mitigating the problems facing the people, comes in the wake of initiative taken by the working president chief minister Omar Abdullah in keeping available the ministers belonging to National Conference at the party headquarters on rotational basis to maintain close rapport with the party workers.

The Cell, Rana said, shall remain open for listening to the problems of the people besides maintaining coordination with the party workers and functionaries between 10 AM and 5 PM at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu.

The Provincial President has assigned the responsibility of meeting the people to Anil Dhar and Iqbal Wani. He hoped that the grievance cell will act as a grievance redressal mechanism and public relation office for all party workers and functionaries visiting the Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan.
