Gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Redwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.
Reports said that the gunfight began after a joint team of army’s 1 RR, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area following inputs about the presence of militants.
“Exchange of fire between security forces & #terrorists at Redwani #Kulgam. Security forces on Job. Details will follow. @JmuKmrPolice(sic),” Police tweeted.
