Srinagar
An encounter has been started between the government forces and militants in Larnoo area of Kokernag village of district Islamabad on Tuesday morning.
An official said that government forces launched a cordon and search operation in Larnoo Kokernag village of district Islamabad after receiving specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
He said the search operation turned into an encounter as the government forces were fired upon by the militants.
Reportedly four militants are believed to be trapped the area.
