MLA Langate Er Rasheed on Tuesday held a protest demonstration outside the Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly.
Rasheed staged the protest outside the house just before LA started its budget session.
Rasheed while holding the banner outside the house which reads “if you cannot give Karnah and Gurez a tunnel allow them to migrate another side,” said that every year hundreds of the residents of Karnah and Gurez die but the government has never taken it seriously.
“I stand with all Karnah residents who have been protesting for their rights,” Rasheed said.
MLA Karnah Raja Mansoor was also the part of the protest, who demanded an immediate action towards the issue.
