SRINAGAR: A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Dadoora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
Reports said that a joint team of Army, CRPF and Police launched a cordon and search operation in Dadoora area after having credible inputs about the presence of some militants in the area.

As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon forces triggering an encounter.
When last reports came intermittent firing was going on.
