Amid some gunshots forces launched cordon and search operation in Aripal area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 42RR, 180 CRPF and SOG Awantipora launched cordon and search operation in Aripal after having credible input about presence of some militants in the area.
A senior Police official told news agency GNS that we have cordoned off the suspected spot where the militants are hiding however no exchange of firing has taken place yet.
