Gunshots were heard in Heff village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday during a search operation launched by government forces, local sources said.
Sources told Kashmir Life that several gunshots were heard at Heff village of Shopian district after government forces laid a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the area.
Officials said that a joint team of army and laid a cordon at Heff area after specific inputs about the presence of militants.
