Minister of state for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi Wednesday directed the district development commissioner Bandipora to depute a team of concerned officers to Gurez Tehsil and assess the damage caused to the public property, agriculture and other productive land including orchards.
The minister was addressing an emergency meeting of district officers convened at district headquarter Bandipora today.
The Minister directed all the departments to work with utmost dedication and gear up their field functionaries so that immediate relief reaches the affected people well in time. He said nothing is precious than human life and service in this direction is noble and worthy.
Detailed discussion was held on the situation arisen due to natural climatic of heavy rain fall and wind storm.
