All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Sunday said that CM Ms Mehbooba Mufti’s visit to Kupwara victims’ families under the huge police cover “only rubbed salt on their wounds”. “It was to pacify them.”

“She has no moral ethics other than vote bank politics. Had she has some conscious alive she would have resigned and showed solidarity with the oppressed people,” Hurriyat Conference (g) statement said.

“PDP is a creation of agencies and to come in to power, they befooled people in the name of ‘change and security’ but on ground nothing has changed as the power centers lie somewhere else and oppressed Kashmiris are brutalized in the same way as it used to be since decades,” the statement added.

Reacting to Union government’s decision move to send more troops to Kashmir “to prevent the further loss of lives”, Hurriyat Conference (g) in its statement said, “India wants to strengthen the occupation with barrel of gun. “Aren’t half a million forces enough to kill Kashmiris ruthlessly?” Hurriyat Conference (g) statement asked.

Condemning forces brutalities on common people in HMT Srinagar, Lalpora Kupwara and Trehgam Kupwara, Hurriyat Conference (g) said, “people are not even allowed to condole or protest on the dead ones and by that India wants to enforce the graveyard silence in valley.”

On the reports of police personnel deployment in SMHS and Bones and Joints hospital wherein slain injured young boys hospitalized for treatment and people are “not allowed to meet them”, Hurriyat Conference (g) termed it “as state terrorism and inhuman act in every sense”.
