In a circular dated November 5, 2026, issued by its Accounts Section, the committee said the payment must be made in accordance with the Haj 2027 guidelines.

Pilgrims can deposit the amount through the online payment facility available on the official website, hajcommittee.gov.in, or the Haj Suvidha mobile application using credit cards, debit cards or net banking.

Alternatively, payments can be made through designated pay-in slips at any branch of the State Bank of India or Union Bank of India in favour of the Haj Committee of India.

For bank deposits, pilgrims must use the unique Bank Reference Number provided against their respective cover numbers on the committee’s website. The reference number must also be mentioned on the deposit receipt.

The committee said the third and final instalment would be determined after the expenses to be incurred in India and Saudi Arabia are finalised. The amount payable and the payment schedule will be communicated separately.
