The government on Thursday suspended Internet services in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district following the killing of a Let militant at Sukur-din-Mohalla of Hajin township.

Reports said that mobile Internet services were snapped in to contain law and order situation.

Earlier, clashes rocked various parts of the district including at the site of the gunfight. Forces used tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters.

Pertinently, two days before a foreign militant was also killed in a brief exchange of fire in Hajin village. He was later buried in the local graveyard in Hajin.
