Srinagar

A complete shutdown is being observed in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on fourth consecutive day to mourn the killings of two teenage militants.

A witness said that all shops and other business establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.

Forces have been deployed at many places in order to prevent any untoward incidents, they said.

Mudasir Parrey and Saqib Bilal Sheikh, aged 14 and 17 respectively, were killed along with a Pakistani militant, Ali in the 18-hour-long gunfight with the forces in Mujgund on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday.

A Pakistani militant identified as Ali Bhai was also killed in the gunfight that raged for 18 hours.
