Unidentified assailants have shot at Mohammad Iqbal Wani in a Hajin hamlet last night. He was immediately removed to the hospital and was operated upon. He is out of danger.
Details revealed that two persons approached Wani last night and shot at him. He received a bullet in his thigh. Wani is a truck driver and resides in Bonikhan hamlet.
Wani was operated upon in SKIMS and has already been discharged.
Police said they have registered an FIR and investigations have started. They said they have clues to the attack.
