Union Minister Jitendra Singh has confirmed the half-day leave for government offices, while a decision for state-run schools is still pending.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly sought feedback from ministers regarding the preparations for the significant event. Ministers have been instructed to illuminate lamps at their homes and provide assistance to the less fortunate, emphasizing a celebratory atmosphere similar to Diwali.

In addition, ministers have been tasked with organising trips to Ayodhya for the residents of their constituencies, scheduled to coincide with the opening of the temple to the public after the January 22 ceremony.

They are expected to oversee the preparations and accompany constituents on these excursions to Ayodhya.
