Expressing deep shock and grief over the loss of two precious lives in Handwara, Congress J&K unit Chief G A Mir Tuesday strongly condemned the firing by army personnel on the protestors, in Handwara.
“The unfortunate incident could have been prevented,” a statement issued by Congress said this evening.
Describing this incident most unfortunate, Mir demanded probe into this incident, so that truth comes to fore and guilty are punished.
PCC Chief while offering condolences to bereaved families asked the forces, dealing with law and order problem, to exercise restraint.
