Villagers of Hardu Ichloo in Tangmarg area allege that their village is without electricity for the past ten days as the power transformer developed technical snag.
“A week back the transformer was taken to workshop for repairing, however, it hasn’t been brought back yet,” said Fayaz Ahmad Ganai, a local resident.
The inhabitants of the village are facing many problems due to non-availability of electricity.
“The students appearing for various exams are finding it hard to prepare for the exams,” said a resident of Hardu Ichloo.
Junior Engineer Power Development Department Tangmarg Imtiyaz Ahmad said that the transformer will be repaired and reinstalled within couple of days.
