All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Jammu province head and  Jammu and Kashmir National Front chairperson Nayeem Ahmad Khan Wednesday expressed “deep sorrow over the killing of an unarmed youth”, Parvez Ahmad Guru, “at the hands of Indian forces and police” in Nain Batpora Pulwama.

In a statement issued here Nayeem said, “forces and police have become habitual of using force against unarmed civilians. There is not any accountability of forces and police which is leading to the continuous killings of innocent Kashmiris.”

Khan paid rich tributes to Parvez Ahmad and said that he has “proved that Kashmiris have not given up their demand of freedom from India and the people here continue to raise their voice favouring the resolution of the long pending dispute of Kashmir”.

Nayeem also paid tributes to Shaheed Shariq Ahmad Bhat, a local militant who was killed in an encounter with forces in Pulwama. “Instead of surrendering before heavily armed Indian army, Shariq sacrificed his life for the sake of freedom”.

Nayeem Khan prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured at the hands of forces in Batpora Pulwama. “Sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs,” Nayeem Khan said.
