Funeral prayers in absentia were offered for the slain civilians killed in  Hawoora village of Redwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Three civilians including a teenage girl were killed by the army in Hawoora village of Kulgam district on Saturday.

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front activists led by Noor Mohammad Kalwal and Bashir Kashmiri organized funeral prayers in absentia for the slain people after Zuhr prayers outside Jamia Masjid Gaw Kadal Srinagar. Rich tributes were paid to the slain militants and civilians after the prayers.

Earlier, Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprised of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik called for complete shutdown in Kashmir Valley for today to remember Burhan Wani on second death anniversary.

The JRL had asked people to offer funeral prayers in absentia for slain Kulgam civilians across Kashmir valley.
