Continuing its expansion in the state of J&K, HDFC Bank, on Monday inaugurated its 52nd branch in district Baramulla.
The branch was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Ghulam Ahmed Khawaja.
According to officials, the branch will offer its customers all the banking facilities under one roof.
Speaking on the occasion, Zubair Iqbal, Vice President & Circle Head (J&K), said, “The bank has shown tremendous growth in last 2 years and from 10 branches & 20 ATMs in April 2011, we have increased our network to 52 branches and 136 ATMs.”
“The focus of the bank is to reach out to the large unbanked segment in the state and provide banking solutions and accessibility to funds. We will take our branch network to 60 by end of March 2013 and ATM network to 160,” Zubair added.
