SRINAGAR: The Health and Medical Education Department issued a directive on Monday to the directors of health services in Kashmir and Jammu, as well as the director of Family Welfare, MCH, and Immunization. The directive instructed them to detach all staff previously attached by department heads at their own discretion.
In an official order, the Under Secretary of the Health and Medical Education Department specifically directed the Director of Health Services in Jammu and the Director of Health Services in Kashmir to detach all such staff appointed by the Heads of Departments at their own discretion. They were also tasked with implementing the transfer and posting orders issued by the Administrative Department to ensure a rational allocation of staff in the best interest of patient care.
The order also said, “Provide a compliance report and submit a list of employees who have not adhered to instructions and orders issued periodically by November 1, 2023, before 12.00 noon. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, as per the applicable regulations, without further notice.”
