The Minister’s statement came in response to supplementary questions raised by legislators Sajad Gani Lone, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Kaiser Jamsheed Lone, Mir Saifullah, and Sheikh Khursheed regarding the establishment of the medical college.

Sajad Gani Lone criticised the previous administration for selecting the site without consulting local representatives, calling for an immediate inquiry into the decision-making process.

Assuring the House and concerned legislators, Itoo stated that their concerns would be addressed, and necessary corrective measures would be taken. She further assured that local representatives would be consulted for the selection of a new site to ensure the successful establishment of the vital public health institution.
