SRINAGAR: Director Health Services, Kashmir, Dr Jehangir Bakshi, and Dr Fazl Q. Parray, Principal of SKIMS Medical College Bemina, jointly chaired a meeting to review health-related preparations for the Khelo India Winter Games 2025, scheduled to be held in Gulmarg from March 9 to 12.
SKIMS Medical College Hospital has been designated as the main referral hospital for the event and will be responsible for handling medical emergencies and referrals from the venue. Officials discussed ensuring round-the-clock availability of specialists, as well as the deployment of essential human resources, logistics, and equipment throughout the event.
The meeting also emphasised the importance of seamless coordination between the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, and SKIMS Medical College, Bemina, to provide comprehensive healthcare services during the games and beyond.
